Students play an important role in this research
Elizabeth Jacobs, PhD explains, “Students have a critical role in the research being done. It is not only a training experience. Many students are producing top-notch research that is moving the field forward. They bring fresh ideas and a completely new perspective, which is crucial for innovation in any field.”
Our students also have opportunities to contribute to research projects that involve multi-disciplinary collaborations between university departments, the state health department and other institutes across the nation.
The collaborations the College has formed with University Medical Center, Arizona Cancer Center, Arizona Respiratory Center, the Bio5 Institute, Nutritional Sciences and numerous local and state agencies provide our students with a truly broad range of research opportunities.
